Is there an affiliate program for booking.com, and where do I sign up?

Here are 40 shops from my content plan. Which of them have an affiliate program, and on which network?

MCP access is part of the Pro + API plan.
In your settings. It works like a password for the connection.
Paste a short snippet into Claude, Cursor or another app once.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools and data. Once you connect the Affilitizer MCP server, your assistant can look things up in the Affilitizer directory whenever a question is about affiliate programs or networks. You keep asking in plain language, as usual.
You don't need to program anything. Setting it up means copying a short configuration into your AI app once. Building your own software instead? Then the HTTP API is the better fit.
MCP access requires Pro + API
The MCP server is included in the Pro + API plan and in custom plans with API access. Using ChatGPT? The Affilitizer app for ChatGPT is already included in Pro. View plans & pricing →
The API key tells Affilitizer that the requests from your AI app come from your account. You need it for Claude, Cursor and other apps, but not for ChatGPT.
Sign in and open Settings → API.
Click Create API key and give it a name you will recognize later, for example “Claude”.
Copy the key right away. It starts with aff_ and is shown only once. Keep it private, like a password.
Pick the app you use. In every snippet, replace YOUR_API_KEY with your key and keep the word Bearer in front of it.
Claude's desktop app for Mac and Windows connects through a small helper program that runs on your computer.
Install Node.js (the LTS version) from nodejs.org. Claude needs it to run the helper. Skip this step if Node.js is already installed.
Open Claude's settings, go to Developer and click Edit Config. This opens the file claude_desktop_config.json.
Paste the configuration below into the file and replace YOUR_API_KEY. If the file already contains settings, add the "affilitizer" block to the existing "mcpServers" section instead of replacing everything.
{
"mcpServers": {
"affilitizer": {
"command": "npx",
"args": [
"-y",
"mcp-remote",
"https://www.affilitizer.com/api/mcp",
"--header",
"Authorization:${AUTH_HEADER}"
],
"env": {
"AUTH_HEADER": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
}
}
}
}Save the file, quit Claude completely and open it again. Then ask one of the questions above. The first time, Claude asks whether it may use the Affilitizer tools.
Cursor connects to the Affilitizer MCP server directly, no extra software needed.
Open the file ~/.cursor/mcp.json in your home folder, or create it if it doesn't exist. To use Affilitizer in one project only, use .cursor/mcp.json inside that project.
Paste the configuration below and replace YOUR_API_KEY. If the file already lists other servers, add the "affilitizer" block to the existing "mcpServers" section.
{
"mcpServers": {
"affilitizer": {
"url": "https://www.affilitizer.com/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"
}
}
}
}Save the file and check in Cursor's MCP settings that affilitizer is switched on. Then ask your question in the chat.
ChatGPT connects through the Affilitizer app for ChatGPT. It is included from the Pro plan and needs no API key.
Open ChatGPT, go to Apps and search for “Affilitizer”.
The first time you use the app, it asks for an access code. You find your code under Settings → Affilitizer AI.
Paste the code into ChatGPT. The app is now linked to your Affilitizer account.
Many other AI apps and agent tools can connect to online MCP servers. Look for a setting called “MCP server”, “remote server” or “connector” and enter these two things:
Server URL:
https://www.affilitizer.com/api/mcpAs authentication, add a header named Authorization with the value Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. If the app asks for a transport type, choose Streamable HTTP (sometimes just called HTTP).
No. Your AI app only sends the details of a lookup to Affilitizer, for example the shop domains it wants to check. The rest of your conversation stays with your AI app.
Quit the app completely and start it again. If that doesn't help, check the configuration for typos: a missing comma or quotation mark breaks the whole file. In Claude Desktop, also make sure Node.js is installed.
Copy the key again in full. It starts with aff_, and the word Bearer plus a space must come before it. Also check in Settings → API that the key still exists and that your plan includes API access.
Each API key can make up to 60 lookups per minute. Wait a minute and ask again. For long lists, ask about all shops in one question instead of one shop at a time.
Use the plain domain, for example otto.de instead of https://www.otto.de/shop. If there is still no result, the directory has no active affiliate program for that shop.
Endpoint – https://www.affilitizer.com/api/mcp
Transport – Streamable HTTP, stateless, JSON responses (no SSE, no sessions)
Auth – Authorization: Bearer aff_…, the same key as the HTTP API. A missing or malformed key gets HTTP 401 with JSON-RPC error -32001; an unknown key gets a tool result with isError: true.
Limits – 60 requests per minute per key, shared with the HTTP API; 50 results per page
